After over 20 years of offering industry leading Ford overdrive transmissions, Lentech Automatics is currently evaluating a GM overdrive lineup. In response to the growing popularity of the LS engine platform on the performance scene, we purchased a Chevrolet SSR to serve as a testbed for the first product we plan to offer: a 6 speed 4L80E based overdrive. This will perfectly compliment the modified all-aluminum 5.3L (LM4) engine, and add better durability and performance over the original 4L60E.
