These billet fittings adapt braided AN lines to the o-ring ports on the 6R80 transmissions. These are great for conversions into Fox bodies or other previous models, or for upgrading your cooler and/or line sizes.
To date, this adapter offers the largest fitting sizes of any billet adapter on the market. We recommend pairing this with a 3/8″ NPT to -8AN fitting for excellent flow properties to your cooler.

Our 4L80E development vehicle had a good season of progress. The 6 speed conversion (geartrain, valve body and controller) is complete, and testing of this setup has been completed on the street and at the drag strip. To top things off, a Nitrous Outlet plate system was installed and Project SSR spun the dyno rollers producing a stout 475whp/455wtq! For more details on this vehicle, see our “projects” page. In the spring of 2017, we will be testing a new variation of the 4L80E in the SSR.
Lentech Automatics has acquired a 2004 Chevrolet SSR to serve as a test vehicle for upcoming GM transmission products. It will be fitted with a 4L80E that is modified to operate as a 6 speed.
After many years of using a stamped steel transbrake solenoid retainer on our AOD valve bodies, we have a new billet aluminum design to install on the Strip Terminator transbrake units. It supports the solenoid more securely AND looks cool doing it! Its all about the details…
